Vodacom in partnership with Mastercard® and BancABC has introduced the first and only special service in Tanzania that allows customers to purchase services and products from merchants around the world via M-Pesa. M-Pesa mastercard helps people to pay for services, products, apps, hotel bookings or trips , digital content etc. from online businesses anywhere in the world that receive Mastercard payments. There are no fees when you deposit money into your M-Pesa Mastercard account or transfer from M-Pesa Mastercard to the M-Pesa master account. The only fee is for online payments. The amount you can set on your card depends on your M-Money account limit. Example Tsh 3 million for customers who have completed registration. All Vodacom customers registered with M-Pesa can use M-Pesa Mastercard. HOW TO PAY WITH M-PESA MASTERCARD
Once you have selected the products you want to place your order on the relevant network, scroll down to the Mastercard payment log and select then, Then take the Vodacom M-Pesa phone and follow the following steps:
Step 1: HOW TO CREATE CARD

- Select (6) M-Pesa Mastercard
- Select (1) Create card
STEP 2: HOW TO PUT MONEY ON THE CARD
- Dial * 150 * 00 # select (4) Lipa kwa M-Pesa
- Select (6) M-Pesa Mastercard
- Select (3) Weka pesa Kwenye Kadi
- Enter your M-Pesa PIN
You will receive a short message confirming your transaction. You can also withdraw money from your card and return it to the main M-Pesa account.
STEP 3: HOW TO VIEW CARD INFORMATION
- Dial * 150 * 00 # select (4) Lipa kwa M-Pesa
- Select (6) M-Pesa Mastercard
- Select (2) Card information
You will receive a short message confirming your transaction
STEP 4: HOW TO WITHDRAW CASH FROM THE CARD
Follow the following steps to withdraw money from your card and return it to the M-Money account at any time
- Dial * 150 * 00 # select (4) Lipa kwa M-Pesa
- Select (6) M-Pesa Mastercard
- Choose to withdraw cash from the card
- Enter your M-Money PIN
You will receive a brief message confirming your transaction and seeing the balance of the new card as well as the remainder of the M-Pesa main account.
