Form 5 Second Selection 2020/2021 | Minister of State in the President’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government Hon. Selemani Jafo said that 7,586 out of 8,603 students who missed out on the first phase were selected to join Form Five in the second phase.

Announcing the results of the election for students to join Form Five in the second phase yesterday, Minister Jafo said among the selected students who are 88.18% of those who missed the first phase were 1,109 girls and 6,477 boys.

He further clarified that after the completion of the selection of students to join the fifth form of the first phase, 8,603 students including 1,281 girls and 7,322 boys were not assigned to school.

Minister Jafo said 355 students, 254 boys and 101 girls, have been transferred from various colleges to join Form Five.

He said among the selected students, 615 students were assigned to science and mathematics subjects and 6,971 students were assigned to art and business subjects.

In addition, Minister Jafo said a total of 1,017 students including 172 girls and 845 boys equivalent to 11.82 percent have missed specific qualifications, thus failing to be selected to join the fifth form studies in the second phase.

Waliochaguliwa Kidato cha Tano Awamu ya Pili 2020/2021 | In addition, Minister Jafo has asked students selected to join the fifth form studies in the second phase to ensure they arrive at school from September 6 to 20 this year where the student who fails will have lost his place.
