flows through the park. During the summer, the river attracts a number of animals
from Serengeti, including zebras, wolves, crocodiles, buffaloes, and others. The
Parks has 2,600 sq km. Located at 118 km southwest of Arusha. To get to
Tarangire it will take 1:30 hours flight by plane from Arusha. Good time to
visit is between June and September, where there are many animals. The
Serengeti, Tarangire has a large wildlife collection. It has gained popularity due
to many elephants , zebras, buffaloes, crocodiles and deer that are scattered
over 20,000 sq km annually
Also, with more than 550 species of birds, including the
Kori bustard (the world's largest flying bird) and the thighed ostrich (the
world's largest bird), Tarangire has the most abundant birds in one environment,
anywhere in the world
