Sophia robot has become very popular lately in Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. Sophia is a humanoid robot that means looks like a human beings developed by a company called Hanson Robotics under Dr David Hanson based in Hong Kong.
This Sophia robot officially activated and started operating in 2016 February 14. She was officially revealed in public in the United States, Texas a month later. This robot has been participated in great interviews from different countries around the world.
Due to this innovation in 2017 Sophia gained the citizenship of all countries over the world. Sophia Robot has ability to communicate with humans through specialized software that is installed in the robot.

The robot also has cameras that act as eyes that can follow the face, a sustained eye contact and being able to identify the person she's talking to. According to Hanson Sophia robot is able to display more than 60 facial expressions.
