Coronavirus Updates | Tanzania Virus Cases Jump to 147

Idadi ya wenye Virus vya Corona Tanzania | Today April 17 in Tanzania has recorded 53 new cases of novel coronavirus infection and bringing the total number of patients that have tested positive to 147.

The official announcement was made by the minister of health Ummy Mwalimu briefing regarding the coronavirus development in Tanzania.

Also the country recorded new death of COVID 19 bringing the total number of deaths 5. Among those cases 11 have healed and discharged, 127 are under close monitoring and 4 of the remaining cases are critical condition.

According to the minister of health Ummy Mwalimu 38 of the patients are from Dar es Salaam and the remaining are from Mwanza, Kilimanjaro, Kagera, Pwani and Lindi Regions.

Also Zanzibar have the total number of 35 patients as 10 new cases increased today. Among those cases 1 passed away, 4 of them discharged and 30 are under close monitoring on the Isles.
